To erase a memory of a bad movie "aka" kheyana Mashru3a... I had to watch 2 brilliant movies.... one on my pc and the other at the Cinema

Prestige:

I don't think I enjoyed my time watching a movie like I did in this movie may be since fight club or Italian Job... What can I say... I kept my eyes open wide all the movie... I was stunned!!

Asa great fan of Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman, I was going to watch the movie anyways, and it really worthed the money I paid....

No one can ever tell you the story of prestige you have to see it,
The Story is about two young magicians; Rupert Angier and Alfred Borden (Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale, respectively), who were mates helping their Master Cutter "Michael cane" in doing his tricks..... until Angier's wife Died in doing one those tricks and he accused Borden so they separated from their master to do their own business and became enemies....

After that the 2 tried to discover each others secrets to ruin each others business... until Angier knew about Bordon's trick of the transport man, A trick that made Angeir lose his mind to decipher it...

That movie includes huge number of twists and tricks that you can never expect... it's a movie that makes you hold your breath and keep saying Wow!!!

Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman gave out powerful performances, one is a great magician and cool trusting his tricks always aiming for adventure, the other always liked to use safe tricks with a great show but he loses his mind after his wife's death he tries every way to take revenge...

Michael Caine was perfect in playing the role of their old master... Scarlet Johanson was good in playing the role of Magician's assistant who felt in love with both magicians and they kind of used her to hurt each others.... but I couldn't help myself laughing at the sentence she said to Bordon "when you are with me you should forget all about the house" and don't ask me why I laughed :D.

I love David Bowie's music and he really looks like the original
Nikola Tesla but that fight between him and Thomas Edison's followers was kind of over rated.

What can I say the acting was perfect the script was perfect the directing was perfect the music was awesome and the movie was great, and you know what I'm not surprised after knowing that
Christopher Nolan and his brother Jonathan Nolan are the director and writer of such good movie

PS: Go and watch the movie..... you have to watch Memento too.

.........................................................................................................................................................................

Requiem for a dream:

It's an independent movie it was done on 2000 (lots of great movies were done that year).... I don't know what to say about that movie, but for my opinion I think it should be educated in schools "excluding some scenes which were essential but too disgusting and......."... the movie is very good....

It talks about a guy "Harry" who left his mother "Sara" to live on his own with his girl frnd "Marion" and his best frnd "Tyrone".....

Sara is a typical picture of an old lonely widow who does nothing but watching T.V. and remember how she was Happy when she had her husband and son around her... She loves her son so much, Harry loves her but he doesn't visit her except when he needs money....

Marion is a daughter of a wealthy family, she left her parents coz she never felt their love or care, she went away from them to feel her independence and she refuses to take money from them... she takes drugs to forget about her parents.

Tyrone is Harry's friend who is broke as Harry, they have no job they take drugs to forget their reality and to feel happy about themselves

It's may be kind of typical but when you look deeper u discover the magnificence of that movie, it talks about everything from corruption to killing loneliness, to greed, to desperation, to how media may affect peoples minds to many other things.

The way it transfer you from happiness &hope to complete despair... That part of the movie when all the actors were so happy and satisfied and then how their lives was completely destroyed due to their addiction.....

It talked about all what addiction can cause, from steeling to madness, to drug dealing, to deviated sexual behaviour, to being imprisoned, to how they humiliate theirseles to get the drug, to how if you weren't an addict you'd probably hang yourself before doing what they had to do to get the drug...

I really pitied Sara, she was a victim to her loneliness, I really loved the part which showed how fraud media and greedy doctor turned her from borderline depressed lady to a lady with a fake hope to an addict to Diet Pills, to a mad woman.

It's indeed shocking and disgusting but needed, you may say it doesn't add a thing what I already know about the hazards of drug abuse, but when you see it you feel it's real... the crew acting was so real that for some scenes I actually felt like I'm the one who's suffering.

You'll never ever dare to abuse a drug after seeing that movie!!

As a person it taught me three things...

My parents love me allot and I should take care of them when they are lonely, "Don't laugh, If I were Sara I'd do exactly like her"

When I become a doctor I will never prescripe any addicting pills to a patient till I evaluate his/her psychological, mental and physical status,

And finally when I'm going to have kids, when they become teenagers I'll show them this movie!!
